Successful Course on AI and OSINT Enhances Safety and Security PreparednessThe European Centre for Disaster Medicine (CEMEC) and the Observatory on Security and Defence (OSDIFE) recently concluded a highly successful course on "Tangible Approaches for Using Artificial Intelligence, Machine Learning, and Cognitive Computing in Open-Source Intelligence - OSINT". This two-days course focused on enhancing the effectiveness, efficiency, and preparedness of professionals in addressing new safety and security threats.
Participants from various sectors, including security experts, analysts, and decision-makers, gathered to explore the integration of new technologies and methodologies into OSINT practices. The activities provided practical insights and hands-on experience, demonstrating how these advanced technologies can be leveraged to gather, analyse, and interpret open-source data more effectively.
Through expert-led sessions, case studies, and interactive workshops, attendees gained a comprehensive understanding of AI-driven OSINT methodologies and tools.
