In its 11th consecutive year, the European Centre for Disaster Medicine played a key role in 'Sport Week,' held on Saturday, September 23, and Sunday, September 24. This multidisciplinary exhibition served as a platform for sports federations to showcase their activities and provided a unique stage for the Centre's to focus on its mission.
From a public health perspective, this event offered a crucial opportunity for education and prevention, with the European Centre for Disaster Medicine taking the lead. The primary goal was to equip future generations with vital emergency response skills. Guided by a team of dedicated doctors, nurses, and instructors, young attendees had the opportunity to gain valuable first aid skills through hands-on experience with patient simulators.
