


NLS New Born Life Support course
San Marino, May 5th and November 3rd 2025

Course objectives: to provide knowledge and skills necessary for adequate care of the newborn in the first 10-20 minutes after birth, with particular emphasis on the importance of temperature control, airway management, and ventilation.
Course topics include: physiology of resuscitation at birth, neonatal resuscitation algorithm, special situations, airway management and ventilation, vascular access, chest compressions and drugs.
Duration:8 hours
Target audience:Healthcare workers of any qualification who may find themselves in the situation of having to resuscitate a newborn baby at birth.
