The National Congress of the Italian Society of Emergency Surgery and Trauma - SICUT saw the presence, among the speakers in the session dedicated to 'Maxiemergencies and Simulation', of the European Centre for Disaster Medicine, which presented its current and future activities in the field of research, planning, training and dissemination.
The event, chaired by Prof. Antonia Rizzuto of the Magna Grecia University of Catanzaro, during the three days of work was attended by about 650 experts in the field who discussed topics concerning emergency surgery, intervention simulations and field experiences related to maxi-emergencies.
