Cooperation in Cross-Border and International Emergency Response Emergencies don’t stop at borders, and neither does collaboration. The European Centre for Disaster Medicine joined a high-level delegation from the Republic of San Marino for a strategic meeting with the National Fire and Rescue Service at the Italian Ministry of the Interior With Ing. Eros Mannino, newly appointed Chief of the Italian Fire Brigade, and Prefect Attilio Visconti, Head of Department of Firefighters, Public Rescue, and Civil Defense, discussions focused on enhancing operational training, technical exchange, and joint emergency response efforts From the heart of emergency management at the National Operations Centre, the commitment was clear: continuous learning, shared expertise, and a proactive approach to disaster preparedness.
