


Civil-Military Cooperation in CBRN Defence

The European Centre for Disaster Medicine has once again significantly contributed to advancing civil-military cooperation during the recent CBRN Defence Orientation Course at NATO School in Oberammergau, Germany.The course gathered military and civilian experts to address the complexities of Chemical, Biological, Radiological, Nuclear and technological threats.
CEMEC’s participation enriched the curriculum, emphasizing the critical need for collaboration between military and civilian entities to effectively respond to these evolving challenges.
As a key training hub, the NATO School offers over 100 courses annually, focusing on cooperation, dialogue, and training for both military and civilian personnel. Since its establishment in 1953, the school has trained more than 200,000 participants, with over 10,000 attending each year.
