CEMEC Kicks Off 2025 Training Activities with a Focus on Paediatric Resuscitation

The European Centre for Disaster Medicine is excited to announce the successful launch of its 2025 training activities with the completion of the European Paediatric Advanced Life Support (EPALS) course.Held last week, this intensive two-day program equipped frontline healthcare professionals with important skills to resuscitate children, infants, and newborns in diverse scenarios.
From mastering intraosseous infusion techniques to effectively managing paediatric shock and , cardiorespiratory arrests , participants engaged in hands-on training through real-life scenarios. The course also emphasized team management, non-technical skills, and the ethical dimensions of post-resuscitation care-ensuring holistic preparedness for life-saving interventions.
