The European Centre for Disaster Medicine (CEMEC) took part in the United Nations Office for Disarmament Affairs (UNODA) Disarmament Week.
This annual initiative, created to highlight the global imperative of disarmament and build a safer, more stable world, featured an interactive exhibition that encouraged visitors to actively participate, share their opinions, and discover effective tools to raise awareness on the topic of disarmament
From nuclear weapons to emerging autonomous technologies, the risks are severe, and the path to peace requires commitment, dialogue, and cooperation. As the United Nations emphasizes, arms control and non-proliferation efforts are essential to prevent crises, protect civilians, and secure a sustainable future.
At CEMEC, we’re committed to supporting global disarmament efforts and promoting peace through public education, advocacy, and collaboration with international partners. Let’s work together for a world closer to safety for all.
