Agreement Signed between San Marino Red Cross and CEMEC to Enhance Rescue CapabilitiesThe San Marino Red Cross (CRS) and the European Centre for Disaster Medicine (CEMEC) have inked a key agreement following years of fruitful collaboration. The joint declaration of intent, aimed at implementing joint projects in training and operational activities, seeks to enhance the skills and capabilities of both organizations for mutual benefit.
The CRS, which works closely with many institutions within the Civil Protection Coordination, acknowledges the importance of enhancing the training of its Rescue Volunteers. To this end, it has decided to actively collaborate with CEMEC, utilizing the educational and logistical resources provided by the Centre.
Under this agreement, CEMEC will be able to rely on the support of CRS, which will provide resources and volunteers.
The memorandum of understanding between CRS and CEMEC represents a significant step towards improving emergency and disaster response capabilities. Both organizations are committed to working together to ensure adequate preparedness and effective intervention in times of need, thereby contributing to the safety and well-being of the community.
